California Ocean Adventures was started by Brian Renfro and Steve Eggers for the sole purpose of giving people from all walks of life the opportunity to experience the coastal environment of California.

You can sign up for SCUBA classes and learn to enjoy the exploration of offshore reef systems and canyons of the Big Sur coast, or freedive the kelp forests of Carmel Bay and beyond.

We also offer cooking classes that will teach you to cook the delicacies from our intertidal zones.

Our goal is to give our students the confidence and knowledge to be stewards of the sea so we can enjoy and protect the fragile and beautiful coastline that is our backyard.
